First-Semester Common Workshops for All Branches

To build a strong practical foundation, all first-semester diploma students undergo training in essential engineering workshops, regardless of their chosen branch. These workshops introduce students to fundamental technical skills, tool handling, and basic manufacturing processes.

•  Machine Shop – Basic operations using lathe, milling, and drilling machines.

•  Fitting Shop – Training in filing, marking, cutting, and assembling metal components.

•  Welding Shop – Practical experience in arc welding, gas welding, and brazing techniques.
